Staying in hospital can be a daunting time for a child: away from home and the people and things they know and love. Sometimes it's not just medicine that helps a sick child feel better. This is where the Theodora Clown Trust steps in. We have only one job - to make sick children smile again. Theodora Children's Trust sends clown doctors to remind sick children what its like to laugh again. A clown doctor is a professional artist, trained and funded by Theodora Children's Trust to bring laughter, music and magic to children in hospital. Our team of 12 clown doctors visit more than 26,000 children every year. These magical moments are possible thanks to the donations we receive from private donors and sponsors.
Many of the children we visit go to school in hospital. These courageous children have been writing some moving poetry which we have compiled into a book to make the perfect present for both adults and children alike.
